goesdown: (You can say I've tried everything)

[ Crowley can't say that he dislikes the general image of Dean shredded up like that, but he's not going to voice that to Blake.

There have been times where he might have liked to do that himself to the man, but those times have passed. Sure, Crowley wants to hit Dean sometimes--and not very gently, either--but they are somewhat allies now, aren't they? Well, Crowley's decided that they are and he's sort of forcing the issue on Dean, but that counts. Either way, Dean's no use to him if he's not alive and helpful.

More importantly, Crowley is aware that seeing something like that can't be easy for Blake, who hasn't spent time in Hell and hasn't let go of his emotional attachments to Dean, even if Dean can't remember Blake from before. Dean hasn't spent enough time there to be a demon, but Crowley can hazard a guess that that wasn't nearly as hard on Dean as it was for Blake to see it.

The movement cues Perdita to whine softly and move from her spot on the bed to her often unused dog bed in the corner as Crowley pushes himself up to shake Blake's shoulder, voice rough with sleep.

Blake, wake up.
