There are a lot of things Crowley hates about the village, but at least it's given him a few things that he wouldn't trade back for anything. Back in Wonderland, he's still figuring out so much that he already understands here. Here, he has Blake and he can be honest about the fact that he needs the man very much.

On the occasions where he winds up here without a game to play, he opts to look for Blake straight out and this is no exception.
