[ Blake's weight is easy enough to take and Crowley presses his nose into Blake's hair. ]
I don't mind any of that. Come to bed.
[ His voice is gentle and warm in a way he rarely is, even with Blake, but he very much likes sleeping next to him. He feels safe and, more to the point, he feels as if Blake is safe. He doesn't trust anyone with Blake the way he trusts himself. ]
[ It's odd how enticing Crowley can be, just with a few simple words. For Blake, it feels comfortable and homey, like how he thinks it should be when you're in a relationship with a person. In this moment, it's not the demon's agenda to get him in the sack, but instead his agenda to get Blake to sack out.
Honestly, it's almost sickeningly endearing, but who's complaining? If this is what they need to make it in Wonderland, then this is what they'll have.
Blake urges them both forward, up to the familiar fifth floor. ]
[ He wraps an arm around Blake and guides him up the stairs.
Crowley's still trying to cling to the notion that this isn't a relationship. They're just friends who care about each other and sleep together and encourage each other to get dogs. No big deal.
He does need this, though. He feels more at home with Blake than anywhere else these days. ]
I'll entice you with oral sex that you don't have to reciprocate.
[ No sane man could turn that down, right?
He holds the door open for Blake, peering in to get an idea of what Perdita's gotten up to in their absence. A few thinks are askew, but nothing is particularly ravaged. ]
[ Blake would make comment on the first part, but he's too busy thinking about the second part, eyeing the chair (without trying to eye the chair). ]
Isn't there somethin' we can do 'bout this whole sight unseen portion of things? A collar or... a sweater? I dunno.
[ On second thought, maybe he doesn't want to know where Perdita is, especially when oral sex is involved. Nothing kills the mood like being pointedly stared at while you're trying to get off. ]
[ Cue Hard to Get™. Because he already made it clear he wasn't going straight to bed. Blake wriggles right out of Crowley's grip, backing toward the box he'd brought by earlier. ]
[ And all of this is said with a blatant smirk and Blake starts sifting through his box. Of course, give him a couple minutes and he'll be settled in and swaying tiredly over work, anyway. ]
[ Crowley doesn't even bother with anything beyond a fond smile. Blake is cheeky, but then he does sort of enjoy that.
He settles against the headboard with his book and after a moment, his chair shifts and there are sounds of a dog padding across the room. She jumps up and settles against the side of Crowley's legs. ]
[ As Blake settles in, he watches the invisible form moving up on to the bed to settle there. For a second, he watched incredulously, mouth hanging open a little. He goes to say something, to mention their previous conversation, but instead he just shakes his head and turns his attention back to his work. For all the trouble Crowley can be, there's no lack of charm to keep him in Blake's good graces.
An hour later, just as promised, Blake is wavering over his notes, head sloppily propped on his hand, hair already askew from working his fingers through it too many times. He's muttering to himself, though, so it's clear he's awake, as he ponders through something that just doesn't seem to fit in how it should. Idly, he knows it's time to retire for the night, but pulling himself away has always been a problem. ]
[ Crowley isn't timing him, but he's got a good sense of time and, more to the point, he can see Blake drooping.
Closing his book, he pats Perdita's side. ]
Up, girl.
[ He goes to the closet first, pulling out a bright blue collar that might look just a might like it came from 101 Dalmations. It's easy enough to clip onto her and when he's finished, the collar can be seen rising as she jumps up and puts her front paws on his thighs. ]
[ It's enough of a cue that Blake lifts his head and then closes his notebook. He doesn't feel like it's going to take much convincing to get him into bed, even if there aren't enough hours in the day, and he could use about a dozen more.
Pushing to his feet, he drifts to Crowley's side, one hand seeking out the broad head of that hellhound, while the other rests on the small of the demon's back. He leans in for a kiss. ]
[ It's even said with a yawn, that he doesn't bother to stifle. But instead of actually following along with that plan, he shifts until he can wrap his arms around Crowley and bury his face in the demon's neck. ]
Half past three. So, what's that? Coupla hours, at least, asummin' we go straight to sleep...
[ The sound Blake makes against Crowley's ear is akin to that of a teenager not getting their way, though entirely soft by design. His lips brush over Crowley's skin as he talks. ]
No one? Not even you?
[ But he already knows the answer, so he just moves right along to a little groping as his hand find's Crowley's ass. It's not exactly half-hearted — Blake's whole heart's in it — but there's always a balance between what his body wants, and what all it can take, and right now it's a fine line. A fine, sleepy line. ]
C'mon, there's always time for a little foolin' 'round...
Honestly, Blake's lucky that Crowley has so much self-control, because there's certainly a lot of temptation wrapped up in all of this. Crowley isn't opposed to a little slow, tired late-night sex and if they could sleep in tomorrow, he wouldn't think twice, but Blake's falling asleep on his notes and if he doesn't sleep now, Crowley isn't sure when he will sleep. ]
For now, I'm getting you to bed and you're going to sleep.
[ The role reversal doesn't go unnoticed, and somewhere beneath all of that tired heaviness, there's a certain headiness that Blake feels knowing what he knows of Crowley.
As soon as he's free of his shirt, he resigns himself to losing this battle of wills, but only after absconding with another kiss, this time on the lips, long and very purposeful, almost as if it's a promise. ]
You're right. You win.
[ And he'll slip away from there to finish changing before crawling into Crowley's bed. ]
Mm. Not my fault you like livin' dangerously. 'Night, babe.
[ If anything, they'll be the death of each other, but John doesn't seem to mind the sentiment. They're always at risk, aren't they? Why should a relationship be any different?
Blake's fingers curl around Crowley's and he settles in right around the time he feels the bed shifting again. Perdita crawls up, efficiently taking up the foot of the bed, clearly secure in her new-found place.
John hums a little, sleepily amused. ] Sleep well, pup... [ So begrudgingly okay with making this sacrifice for you, Crowley, you son of a bitch. Good thing you're cute. ]

[ Definitely not a relationship, nope. They're just friends who share meals and responsibilities and bodily fluids. No big deal. ]
One of these days, I'm gonna take a day off. And you gotta hold me to it, right?

[ He sounds like he's reacting to Blake trying to put him in a tiny sweater, but, really, the collar could work. ]
Now let's get some rest.
[ With a gentle tug at Blake's sleeve, he sets out to help Blake get undressed. ]

You go on ahead; I'll catch up.

I'm going to go back to reading, then, but I'm pulling you into bed in an hour whether you like it or not.

I'm not sure if this will scare other people more or less than without.

Don't even joke. You're going straight to sleep the moment your head hits the pillow. There's time for fun after your class.
